Guacamole Ingredients (make it fresh or buy it, Ive done both):
2 avocados - peeled, pitted and diced
1 tsp garlic salt
2 tbs fresh lime juice
-- OR -- I buy Ortega brand 11.5 oz jar
Dip Ingredients:
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 (16 ounce) jar chunky salsa
1 (4 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2/3 bags Tostitos Scoops
Guacamole Directions:
In a medium bowl, mash the avocados and stir in salt. Mix in the lime juice. Cover and chill in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes
Dip Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, blend the taco seasoning mix and refried beans. Spread the mixture onto a large serving platter (13x9 inch glass dish works the best).
2. Mix the sour cream and cream cheese in a medium bowl. Spread over the refried beans. Then spread layer of Guacamole on top.
3. Top the layers with salsa, then Cheddar cheese. Garnish with black olives.
Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes
