Cats can "Go Green" too with the Cat Genie

My solution to loving my cat and hating the cat box, The Cat Genie 120!
I found this online and HAD to have it! Not only do I NOT have to clean a litter box anymore but also if we ever want to go on vacation we dont have to bribe someone to come over and clean the littler box EVERY day. The Cat Genie is like a toilet for your cat! It hooks up to cold water and a drains through either a laundry room drain or bathroom toilet.
I got mine online through www.SmartHome.com The Cat Genie is on-sale and it was the only site I found that would ship here and not charge me an "arm and a leg" for it. SmartHome only charged $14 for shipping. I also ordered the optional sidewalls and GenieDome to give my kitty more privacy and also so the litter granules dont get kicked out as much.

The Cat Genie uses washable granules instead of litter which are washed, sanitized and reused. No more scooping cat litter into bags that go into landfills. Cat's can Go Green! It even has a "cat activation". There are sensors that know when the cat is in there and will automatically run a cleaning cycle 10 minutes after the cat leaves! I love it!

At the end of this video the guy says you dont have to change the litter for 90 days but that's not accurate. You NEVER have to change the washable granules. They do get tracked out of the Cat Genie on the cats paws unfortunately so the granules will require replenishment on occasion.

This is my Cat Genie with and without the Dome. I have mine in the Laundry room. And let me say, I am quite proud of myself that I was able to get it hooked up to the water and drain all by myself! I haven't been able to get a picture of my cat Ginger in it as of yet.
