Me - Mrs. Marine - Mommy

I'm married to a United States Marine and we have two children. My husband has been deployed a lot, so mostly I’m a married single parent. I am called "mommy" or "honey" so much one of these days I’m going to forget my own name. I blog about daily life, funny things my kids do and anything that comes to mind. Sometimes I just feel like ranting and sometimes I need advice...
    Daisypath Anniversary Years Ticker
Hubby and I had been dating 7 months when he left for Boot Camp for 3 months. The day he graduated we drove to Las Vegas and got married the next day. We had only 10 days together and then he left again to finish his training.
In July of 2002 I left Colorado, where I had spent the first 23 years of my life and moved to our first duty station in 29 Palms, CA. Where our daughter was born. Our son was born on the opposite coast, where we are currently stationed in Virginia. We will be going to our next duty station soon (the location is still undetermined). *UPDATE: Were going to Hawaii!!!

Hubby - Mr. Marine - Daddy
Despite the tough Marine Corp persona he is a kid at heart and a wonderful father. He made the choice to go into the Military after 9/11 and chose the Marine Corp. We have decided to make it a career and he will retire after 20 years.

    Deployments so far:
    Iraq (twice)
    Japan
    Cuba (twice
    Spain

Despite the craziness of Military Life we are a close family. I never would have thought I would end up a Military Wife, nor had I ever planned on leaving CO, but look at me know. I am the first to admit that I had NO IDEA what I was getting myself into when I agreed to marry a Marine. But I love him and will follow him wherever the Corp decides to send us, kids in tow and I will continue to support him through deployments and all.

    The Tiny Troops

My two beautiful children! Both May babies and oddly enough there birthdays are exactly 4 years and 2 days apart (at least its not the same exact day). She was 3 days late and he was 2 1/2 weeks early.

    Princess - Daddy's Girl
    Lilypie Kids birthday Ticker
A major social butterfly, she will talk your ear off if you let her (not that you can stop her). She is too smart for her own good. I can see her as a Cheerleader in High School and a Drama Queen.

    Bobo - Mommy's Boy
    Lilypie Kids birthday Ticker
A boy through and through and smart as a button. When caught climbing on the furniture, before I have a chance to say anything, he says, "Get Down!". Already had stitches when he was 20 months old.
